Azerbaijan cuts oil and gas extraction

Azerbaijan has decreased oil and gas extraction in January-November, 2011, compared to a year earlier.  The Azerbaijani State Statistical Committee says 42.2mln tons of oil and 23.8 bcm of gas were extracted during the same period, down 10.4% and 2.5% from 2010.  Some 51 mln tons of oil and 27 mcm of gas were extracted in 2010.
