Azerbaijani minister was awarded for his contributions and special services to ICT field

Azerbaijan Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov paid an official visit to Ukraine. Azeri minister attended the 45th meeting of the Board of the Communications Administrations Heads of the Regional Commonwealth in the field of Communications (RCC Board) in Kyiv.

The meeting`s agenda featured issues on the activity of RCC in the past 20 years, the preparation of RCC`s communication administrations to international and regional forums in the fields of radio and postal communication and bilateral cooperation in telecommunication sphere.

Minister of Telecommunications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation Igor Shegolev offered his Azerbaijani counterpart to deliver a speech at the forum. Ali Abbasov shared his views with Igor Shegolev, chairman of the State Service for Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine Leonid Netudykhata and others within the framework of the meeting.

Azerbaijani Minister took part at the exhibition, demonstrating the latest achievements in the field of information and communications technologies and seminar by Intel Company.
Ali Abbasov was awarded honorary diploma of RRC for his contributions and special services to the field of information and communication technologies.

Azerbaijani Minister held meetings with officials of Ukraine and foreign countries as part of his visit. He also met with Azerbaijani businessmen at the Embassy in Ukraine and familiarized himself with construction works held in Heydar Aliyev Park, at the embassy and diplomatic mission.
