
SOCAR's Kulevi oil terminal received 248,750 tons of oil and oil products compared to 312,718 tons in September last year, SOCAR said.
"In September, the terminal shipped 225,300 tons of oil-loading cargo compared to 347,332 for the same period of last year," the statement said.
According to the forecasts, the volume of transshipment will hit 3.5-3.6 million tons as of 2011.
The terminal transported 3.6 million tons of oil-loading cargo in 2010 or 56 percent more than in 2009.
The terminal was put into operation in summer 2008. Its total capacity is 10 million tons of oil per year, including 3 million tons of oil, 3 million tons of diesel fuel, and 4 million tons of fuel oil.
