Modern greenery complex being built in Baku – PHOTOS

A modern complex with greenery and two hothouses is being built in the territory of the Central Botanic Garden of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences, official of the garden Vilayat Abdulkhalilov said.

According to Abdulkhalilov, it's considered to build a boiler as well.

"The greenery aims to grow tropical and subtropical plants while the hothouses- for cultivation of other kinds of plants. All the necessary conditions will be created here for the cultivation. The complex will meet international standards", he said.

The construction is planned to complete in the second half of 2012.

"The majority of greeneries ware created during the Soviet times, in 1935. Their exploitation time has expired. These greeneries, however, were overhauled from timr to time. Now, our objective is to build new greenhouses. We are doing it stage by stage", Abdulkahlilov concluded.
