The World Bank plans to review its projects in Azerbaijan in October, WB Country Manager for Azerbaijan Joseph Owen told journalists.
He said Azerbaijan’s portfolio consists of 20 projects worth $2.3 billion.
"The bank’s main goal is to achieve desired results and accelerating project implementation project," Owen said.
Since joining the WB in 1992, the commitments to Azerbaijan total $2.9 billion in 43 projects.
Azerbaijan ranks third in the world after Turkey and Kazakhstan in terms of its WB portfolio volume.
