New department opens at SOCAR

The Training, Education and Certification Department has opened at SOCAR, the company said on Tuesday.

The new department will operate on the material and technical basis of the Training, Education and Certification Division of the Social Development Department and Training Center for Life Safety at Sea of the Caspian Sea Oil Fleet.

The Training, Education and Certification Department will deal with training of highly skilled personnel based on contracts for oil and other sectors of industry, specialty training in accordance with international standards, organizing high-quality courses to meet needs of industry and society, providing methodological and technical services on the theoretical bases of international standards and certification and other issues.

Fuad Suleymanov has been appointed the department’s head.
