Customs agencies increases budget payments by 14%

Customs agencies have transferred AZN 100,555,626 to the state budget in June, 2011, down 0.46% or AZN 465,224 compared to May, up 18.2% or AZN 15,480,426 from year earlier.

According to SCC, AZN 22,202,121 was transferred to the state budget as customs duties, AZN 70,999,315 – as VAT. AZN 6,292,370 was on excises, AZN 1,061,822 – on road taxes.

In general, the customs agencies have transferred AZN 542,365,870 to the state budget during January-June. Of this, AZN 112,894,870 was customs duties, AZN 369,198,340 – VAT, AZN 27,667,690 – excises and AZN 5,604,970 – road taxes.

Budget transfers during first 6 months rose 14% or AZN 66,704,970 compared to a year earlier.
