Average monthly salary rises 11% in Azerbaijan

The average monthly salary of hired workers in Azerbaijan rose by 10.7% to AZN 351.3, in January-May, 2011, compared to a year ago, State Statistical Committee.

In comparison with other activity spheres, average monthly salary was higher in mining industry, finance and insurance activities, professional, scientific and technical activities, the field of administrative and auxiliary services, information and communication, construction.

That is, for example, average monthly salary of persons, who work in industry made AZN 520.3, persons, who work in construction complex – AZN 512.4.
