Khachmaz power plant increases power generation

The Khachmaz power plant generated more than 1.40.8 million kilowatt-hours of electricity in January-May compared to the predicted 138 million kilowatt-hours, Azerenergy JSC (generation and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan) said.

According to the information, the station generated about 6.3 million kilowatt-hours of electricity in May or 258,000 kilowatt-hours more than it was predicted.

The station consists of ten units with total capacity of 87 megawatts. It was commissioned in December 2006.
