"Baku-White city" project presented in 22nd immovable property exhibition in France - PHOTOS - UPDATE

The "Baku-White city" project was presented in the 22nd immovable property exhibition "MIPIM 2011" in French city of Cannes.

MIPIM is one of the largest trade shows in Cannes. It is one of the largest global property events centered on “a market for international property trade". It takes place annually here in Cannes with current estimated attendees in excess of 20,000.

"MIPIM provides a unique opportunity for industry decision-makers to meet, network and showcase their latest development projects-in one place, to one hugely influential audience."

The "Baku-White city" project will be implemented in accordance with the decree of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev on "Plan of Integrated Action to Improve the Environmental Situation in the Azerbaijan Republic during the Years 2006-2010".  Baku-White City covering 221 ha will be the largest project in the Caucasus.

The Baku White City master plan envisages creation of 10 universal urban districts, which is to offer its residents the best living, working, recreation and entertainment conditions. About 50 000 people will live here.

Due to the project, the Boulevard will be extended to 1.3 km and is to become the world's longest recreation zone. The project will let foreigners to make investments in construction of the hotels, offices, concert complexes and other infrastructures.
