The cost of crop and livestock production increased by 2.5% in February compared to January, the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee reported.
The cost of annual plants grew by 0.2%, with peppers jumping by 1.6%, cabbage by 0.9%, greens by 1.6%, onions by 1.5%, red radishes by 1.1%, potatoes by 8.8% and wheat by 2.6%.
An increase was also observed on the cost of pomegranates by 3.6%, apples by 8.2%, pears by 3.2%, lemons by 4.4%, chestnuts by 0.1%, nuts by 5.1%, and walnuts by 11.1%.
The cost of livestock products rose by 0.2%, milk by 2.2%, sheep and goats by 1.6%, and sheep's milk by 0.3%. Egg prices jumped 43%.
A price drop was observed on poultry at 7.5%, cow's milk at 2.7%, and fish and fish products at 1.1%.
