Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation holds investment seminar in London

An Investment seminar has been organized in London by Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) with support of the Economic Development Ministry.

The seminar took place as part of the EU Tacis program's project on support for improvement of export and investment climate in Azerbaijan. The event brought together the two countries` officials and about 40 agricultural and food companies.

Addressing the seminar, Azerbaijani ambassador to UK Fakhraddin Gurbanov underlined the importance of “such events in terms of expansion of business relations between the two countries”.

Reports were made at the seminar by President of AZPROMO Adil Mammadov, Executive Director of Azerbaijan Investment Company Afgan Isayev, representatives of UK Salans and Deloitte & Touche companies operating in Azerbaijan.

As part of the seminar Azerbaijani and UK businessmen held a meeting to discuss how to boost ties between the two countries' companies.
