Azerbaijani Chamber of Accounts recommends draft budget for 2011 for discussion in the Parliament

A board meeting of the Azerbaijani Chamber of Accounts, which took place Oct.6 discussed and approved the Chamber's feedbacks on draft laws "On Azerbaijani public budget for 2011" and "On the budget of State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan for 2011," the Azerbaijani Chamber of Accounts said.

The Chamber recommended draft laws for discussion in the Parliament. The meeting also approved the audit program on the composition of local public budget expenditures on the Guba region, execution of public funds allocated by budgetary organizations from local expenditures, the funds allocated from the budget of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) for maintenance and activities of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the NAR , including forecasting non-budget incomes, funding, reasonability of using funds allocated for the maintenance of sanitary and quarantine inspection of the NAR.

The board meeting also discussed and approved the "Rules of control over execution of collective decisions on the result of control activities conducted by the Chamber of Accounts," "Rules for obtaining audit evidence for conducting control activities," "Rules of the joint and parallel conducting audits of the Azerbaijani Chamber of Accounts jointly with the high audit institutions of other countries,", prepared by various divisions of the Chamber of Accounts to regulate its activity.
