Belarus pays off the loan obtained from Azerbaijan

Belarus has today paid off the state loan obtained from Azerbaijan, APA reports quoting Interfax-Zapad agency. Belarus financial circles said the state loan obtained for 12 days to pay debt to Gazprom was paid off.

According to the source, the money was transferred to the account of Azerbaijan this morning. Though the term of payment was to expire on July 5, it was decided to pay off the debt today.

Earlier, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko obtained $200 million loan from Azerbaijan. 187 of 200 millions were paid to Russia's Gazprom company.
