SOCAR President: Azerbaijani gas to be exported to European countries

Azeri natural oil will be exported to the European countries from Turkey after processing at the petroleum chemical compressor plant of Petkim Holding pertaining to Azerbaijan's State Oil Company (SOCAR), head of the company Rovnag Abdullayev said.

About 120-150 thousand tons of liquefied gas is scheduled to annually export, Mr. Abdullayev said. Currently, conditions about export of gas to Syria discuss with Turkey. Besides, the sides carry out talks to deliver Azeri gas to Turkey.

Issue about increase of the volumes of Azeri gas to Iran is expected to be solved in September. The works on reconstruction of Astara gas compressor station located on the border of Iran will end in September that let increase transportation of gas from 3 to 5 m cubic meters.
