21 October 2009 [10:33] - TODAY.AZ
Anticipated rate of inflation for 2010 is 3 to 5 percent in Azerbaijan.
It is not ruled out that this figure will fall to even lower levels, Central Bank Director Elman Rustamov said on Oct. 21.

"There will be stable inflation at low level in Azerbaijan in 2010, that is, 3-5 percent or lower level is possible as we will continue discussions on this forecast," Rustamov said.

He said according to WB forecasts, inflation will total 2-2.5 percent in Azerbaijan by late 2009.

"We will maintain inflation at the same level in future," Rustamov added.
