Azerbaijan is bearing of peace and stability in Caucasus: Russian president's ex-special envoy to Caspian region

Ex-special representative of the Russian president to the Caspian region (ex-energy minister of the Russian Federation) Viktor Kalyuzhny said during the international conference o anniversary of the Azerbaijani foreign ministry in Baku on July 8.

"The Caspian Sea is unique. It covers friendship, economy, policy and several problems," Kalyuzhny said.

He stressed importance and necessity of rapid solving problem with status of the Caspian Sea that will discover new opportunities not only for economic but for political cooperation.

Presently, Azerbaijan has correct position of economic development, Kalyuzhny said. "Azerbaijan is bearing of peace and stability in Caucasus," he said.

Ex-special representative of the Russian president stressed importance of the document on gas supplies signed during the visit of the Russian president to Azerbaijan. The document opens a new page of interrelations between both countries, he said.
