SOCAR to build own filling stations in Azerbaijan

This year the company invested 10 million manats to the SOCAR Petrolium company.

The joint venture is operating owing to loan resources and will gradually build filling stations through these funds.

The official did not say the exact number of stations to be build in Azerbaijan. SOCAR owns filling stations in Georgia and is planning to bring their number to 60.

SOCAR produces and refines oil at its two oil refining plants with a total capacity of 20 million tons. Annually, 6-7 million tons of oil are refined at the plants.
