SOCAR applies new resource management system

The main purpose of the system - is to use tt opportunities for improving the management of the company. SOCAR brings together 120 businesses, employing about 65,000 people. Systemic application of information and communication technology makes the management of such a complex organization more efficient. Consultancy services for the application system have been provided by PricewaterhouseCoopers - one of the leading consulting companies in the world

The high-level equipment is used to implement this complex system. After careful analysis of the world's technology, a 64-processor Superdome server and XP24000 Disk Array HP were preferred. SOCAR has become the first organization in Azerbaijan which introduced a high-level server, such as HP Superdome for the first time.

Stability and reliability of HP Superdome system ensures continuity of important SOCAR programs.

The introduction of the new system would continue. Such units as the "Oil-gas", "management of refining enterprises" will be implemented not only at the level of the company, but also at the level of its enterprises. If the number of the applied modules increases, the integration of information technology with the company's management will also become more efficient.
