Azerbaijan, Qatar to sign agreement on military cooperation

Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev left for an official visit to Qatar Saturday.
According to the press service for the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, the visit envisions Abiyev's meetings with the leadership of Qatar and the armed forces of this country.

During the visit, held by invitation of the head of the general staff of the armed forces of Qatar, general Hamad bin Ali Al-Attiah, the sides will discuss issues of military cooperation and regional security.

The visit envisions signing of an agreement on bilateral military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Qatar.
