Gazprom conducts negotiations to purchase Azerbaijani gas

Representatives of State Oil Company of Azerbaijani Republic and Russian Gazprom and Gazpromexport companies have met in Moscow, sources from the government told APA-ECONOMICS that the meeting had covered export of natural gas to be produced within the framework of the second period of implementation of Shahdaniz oilfield to foreign markets, as well as Russian markets.

The sides exchanged views on export of gas produced in oilfields under exploitation of SOCAR.

The sides achieved an agreement to hold next stage of negotiations till the end of this year.
