NBA reduces discount rate to annual 10%

The board of the National Bank of Azerbaijan decided to reduce the discount rates from annual 12 to 10% beginning from October 31, reports the press service for the National Bank.
Moreover, under the decision of the NBA board, the maximal limit of the cap and floor has been reduced from 17 to 15% and minimal from 3 to 1.

The sources from the National Bank reported that the decision is aimed at strengthening the financial stability in the country on the background of the world financial crisis.
