Romanian-Azerbaijani business forum held in Bucharest

Romanian-Azerbaijani business forum was held in Bucharest on October 20-23, reported sources from the Azerbaijani embassy to Romania.
The forum was attended by a delegation of businessmen and entrepreneurs from Azerbaijan led by president of confederation of Azerbaijani entrepreneurs Alekper Mamedov.

Speaking at the forum, Mamedov informed the participants about the economic development of Azerbaijan, country's macroeconomic indicators, favorable conditions, created by the government for the activity of entrepreneurs and investments, about national legislation and reforms.

Moreover, Mamedov noted that Azerbaijan was declared a leader in the sphere of reforms in the "Doing Business -2009" report of the World Bank.

In the framework of the forum the representatives of Azerbaijani corporations held meetings with Romanian counterparts and discussed wide potentials and forms of cooperation.

During the meetings the sides defined prospects and definite trends of economic ties between Romania and Azerbaijan.

It should be noted that the Romanian-Azerbaijani business forum is organized by the German  Association for Technical Cooperation.
