Oil Museum of Azerbaijan to be designed by Turkish specialists

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan that the session participants considered the presented projects.

The commission members discussed the projects of the companies Region (Azerbaijan), BRIDGE BORN Inc. (USA), Anamorphosis Architects (Greece), TOCA (Turkey), ALBA DIŞ Tic and Mobilya (Turkey), Brobst Arxitekten (Germany), HOFFMANN ARCHITECT (Austria) and SETEK ENGINEERING (France and Russia).

By results of the session the commission selected the winner of the tender, which is Turkish TOCA.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijan Oil Museum will locate on the area of Bibi-Eybat oil and gas producing department and will cover an area of 45 hectares. The museum will comprise an open and a closed zone.

The closed zone will include the museum building (the exhibition gallery for expositions, complex cinema halls, duty rooms, children's museum and intellectual club, cafe, souvenir shop, plenary hall, the scientific and practical center, library, SOCAR's centralized archive, administration building, guest house and internal infrastructure.
