Economic Development Minister: "Inflation rate will range between 12-14% in Azerbaijan in 2009"

"We have been discussing this issue since yesterday and agreed that inflation will be 12-14% next year. I would repeat that this is a forecast of the Economic Development Ministry", noted the Minister.

He said that it is necessary to take into account the imported inflation, as well as the dynamics of budget expenses. "Anyway, to regulate the price hike, we will apply only market means of influence and no administrative measures are envisioned", said Babayev.
