Azersu: "In winter the population of Baku will have no problems with water supply"

"Azersu never has problems with water supply to the population of Baku in autumn and winter", said Agshin Rustamov, chief of department of information and contacts with public, commenting on the information according to which this winter the population of Baku will face a problem of frequent delays in the water supply.

Rustamov noted that in winter the Baku population will not have problems with water supply.

"Construction works of laying large pipelines with a diameter of 1400 meters to communicate intercity reservoirs for water, supplied from the said water pipe to be distributed in the city, are held on par with the construction of the Oghuz-Gabala-Baku water pipe", said Rustamov.

The chief of department of information and contacts with public Rustamov noted that works on reconstruction and reconstruction of reservoirs are held and water lines are upgraded in places, where they are in the poorest state.

"The monthly water expense for a person (in places, where there are water meters), makes 6 cubic meters from January 1 of 2007", concluded Rustamov.
