US ambassador: "Efforts on combat with corruption and monopoly are important for development of business in Azerbaijan"

"We are happy to see the development of economic ties between Azerbaijani and US counterparts and we are ready to share our experience for provision of assistance to the development of the Azerbaijani economy", said US ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Derse.

"We are happy to witness the development in Azerbaijan but the country has much to do", said she speaking at a conference on the small business development.

The diplomat noted that the United States encourage the continuation of reforms of the Azerbaijani government for strengthening transparency of the judicial system.

"The renewed efforts on the combat with corruption and monopoly are important for the development of small and middle business", said A.Derse.
