Heydar Babayev: "The state program for poverty reduction and stable development for 2008-2015 covers 9 strategic tasks"

The state program for poverty reduction and stable development for 2008-2015 covers 9 strategic goals, aimed at the development of the country's economy and improvement of the living conditions of the population, said Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev, according to Day.Az.

"The coordination of measures on execution of the state program is empowered to the Ministry of Economic Development and we will try to ensure it by 100%", said the Minister.

He noted that the program fixes tasks on the level of salaries, poverty rate, minimal size of wages, cost of living, consumer basket, unemployment and others.

"This program will be connected with all other working state programs and is a sort of a final document", said the Minister.

It should be reminded that the state program on poverty reduction and stable development for 2008-2015 was approved by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on September 15. It is the third program, aimed at reducing poverty rate in the country.
