Azerbaijan's GDP make $18.5 bln in the first six months of 2008, said a source from the state statistical committee of Azerbaijan.
As is reported, GDP has risen 16.5% (AZN 2 bln) as compared to the same period of the last year.
According to the source, 74.6% GDP falls on production sector, including 64.7% in production, 7% in construction and 3,1% in agriculture.
Services made 18.2% of the GDP including 3.6% transport, 7.1% trade, 1.4% communication, 6.1% social sphere.
Taxes on export and production make 7% of GDP.
The per capital GDP has risen by 15,2% up to AZN 2,168.7 ($2,601.0) as compared to the same period of the last year.
