Ferrari representative office likely to open in Baku

14 July 2008 [10:03] - TODAY.AZ
"It would be more expedient to open Ferrari representative office in Azerbaijan, not in Georgia", said Tariel Khechilashvili, president of Iberia business group, functioning in Georgia.
He also said he does not have information about any talks regarding opening of the Ferrari salon in Tbilisi.

"This depends on existence of due client base. Therefore, it would be preferable to open an affiliate in Baku. Though, it is not ruled out that someone in Georgia is negotiating this issue", announced the businessman.

According to a source from Ferrari car concern, the company's salons to sold exclusive models of super cars will open in 15 countries of Eastern Europe by the end of 2008.

The salon in the South Caucasus may open either in Tbilisi or Baku.

The Iberia-business-group was founded in 1999 and represents the interest of such concerns as Audi, Volkswagen, Scoda, Mitsubishi, Peugeot, Renau and Kia.
