Azerbaijan needs $1.3 mln for sewerage system installation

Azerbaijan collected 40.3% of all water fees in 2007, said Azersu president Nizametdin Rzayev.
He said 20-25 regions of Azerbaijan and 85% of Baku are provided with sewerage system.

"There are 500,000 subscribers in Baku with 200,000 of them provided with water meters. Today, the structure I head plans to install another 150,000 meters", said Rzayev.

He noted that Azerbaijan needs $1.3 mln for installation of sewerage system.

Rzayev said there is a plan to lay 115 km water pipes and 59 km sewerage lines.
