Azerbaijani Economic Development Minister received head of Austria-Azerbaijan friendship group

The press service for the Ministry told Day.Az that the delegation included deputies of the Austrian parliament Kurt Gartlener, Alois Gradauer and Sigisbert Dolinshek.

Babayev informed the guests about reforms conducted in the country and achievements reached. He said the non-oil sector grew 11% in 2007. Oil revenues are used to improve people's living conditions, develop economy, education and implement infrastructural projects.

In turn, Ollinger highly assessed development of bilateral ties. He stressed the economic development of Azerbaijan. The head of the group voiced readiness of provide any assistance to boosting economic ties between the countries.
