Baku to host international conference "Oil and gas potential of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan: energy, economy and environment. Strategy of cooperation"

Press service for the President reports that in line with the order, the conference will take place in September 2008. The Organizing Committee has been established for preparation and holding the conference.

First Deputy Prime Minister Yagub Eyyubov was appointed the Chairman of the Commission and Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Huseyngulu Baghirov, Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov, First Deputy Minister of Finance Ilgar Fatizadeh, Deputy Minister of Economic Development Musa Panahov, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic Rovnag Abdullayev and Vice-President of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Akif Alizadeh – the members of the commission.
