Natik Aliyev: "Turkmenistan may join the interconnected electricity network in the South Caucasus"

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Industry and Energy Natik Aliyev said the interconnected network is necessary for all the participant countries, as well as Azerbaijan.

"The new system will allow Azerbaijan to send electricity to Turkey via Georgia and Iran and this will also allow Nakhchivan to join this network," he added.

According to him, the network will also deliver Azeri electricity to Europe.
