Site for construction of research nuclear reactor in Azerbaijan defined

He said during the meeting with them the discussed were prospects of building a research nuclear reactor in Azerbaijan, training staff, introducing changes to the legislative basis, creation of a structure on state regulation and others.

"Preparations are now conducted for construction of the research nuclear reactor to commence in 2011-2012", said Qaribov.

As to definition of the site for construction, Qaribov said the site has already been defined but there is no final resolution.

Qaribov noted that the reactor will possibly be constructed between Perekishkul and Khirdalan.
