President of Azerbaijan: "IT-sector is one of the priority spheres in Azerbaijan's economic development"

During the meeting Craig Barrett stressed good prospects for cooperation between his companies and the due structures of Azerbaijan in the sphere of communication and information technologies.

He noted that the current visit to our country will create conditions for detailed familiarization with works, carried out for development of information technologies in Azerbaijan, as well as the prospects in the said sphere.

President Ilham Aliyev noted that development of the IT-sector in our country is one of the priority spheres in Azerbaijan's economic development.

He said in this sense, discussion of further prospects of expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Intel company is important.
