IAEA representatives to visit Baku

Representatives of the International Atomic Energy Agency - Jan Stuller and Andrei Chupov are to arrive in Azerbaijan on June 11-14, said head of the Institute of Radiation problems of Azerbaijan's National Academy of Science Adil Qeribov.

He said the visit aims at discussing prospects of establishing research nuclear reactor in Azerbaijan and general inspection of implementation of projects, executed in the framework of technical cooperation with IAEA.

"The IAEA representatives will discuss the said issue with the due structures of Azerbaijan", noted Qeribov.

It should be noted that the research nuclear reactor is planned to be established in 2009.
