The government of Azerbaijan will try to keep inflation rate on the level of 18%, said country's Prime Minister Arthur Rasizade.
"We are all witnessing processes, ongoing in the world economy today. I can say that I have never observed such processes through my long experience. But the government of Azerbaijan will try to keep the inflation rate on the level not exceeding the indicator of four months on the annual basis", said the Premier.
It should be noted that consumer prices and tariffs of services have risen by 3.1% in April of 2008 as compared to March and by 18.7% as compared to the same period of the last year.
