Foreign Minister: "Azerbaijan is interested in creation of free trade area with the Middle Asian countries and in access to the Asian market"

The sides highly appreciated the political understanding, cooperation in the framework of international organizations and stressed need to include business structures representatives to official delegations.

Mamedyarov noted that Azerbaijan is in the center of regional energy and transport projects and noted that along with the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad Azerbaijan is also developing the North-South transport infrastructure in the European direction. The Minister also noted that Azerbaijan is interested in the creation of free trade areas with the Middle Asian countries and the outlet to the Asian market.

The sides also considered possible cooperation in the non-oil sector, especially, in the sphere of tourism, signing of an agreement about the facilitation of visa issues for people with diplomatic and official passport, double tax evasion, as well as opening of the UAE embassy in Azerbaijan.
