Azerbaijan's retail trade turnover rose by 14.7% in January-April of 2008, as compared to the same period of the last year, up to AZN 3,185,300,000.
The due announcement was made by a source from the State Statistical Department of Azerbaijan.
15.6% of the retail trade turnover formed at the cost of legal entities, 45.9% of individuals, acting on fairs and markets and 38.5% of private entrepreneurship without status of a legal entity.
The population bought foodstuffs in the amount of AZN 2,730,000,000 and other production of AZN 1,112,300,000.
Their sale has risen by 10.8% and 25% as compared to the same period of 2007. Through the reported period the population was offered services in the amount of AZN 898,100,000, which is a 29.6% rise as compared to the same period of the last year.
At the same time, 79% of this indicator fell on legal entities and 21% of individuals. The rice in these figures, as compared to the same period of 2007, made up 35.6% and 9.6% respectively.
