Sport city estimated at $2 bln to be built in Baku, Azerbaijan

The due information was provided by a source from Azersun Holding.

"Our sport city will locate in the Bina settlement. The construction will be held at an area of 300 hectares and currently works on initial planning are held.

The city will be launched in three years. The project is estimated at $2 bln and will be financed by Azersun Holding", the source noted.

The source also noted that golf fields, tennis courts, football area (scientific-training football club "Karabakh"), gymnasium and areas for other kinds of sports.

The construction of the sport city will be carried out by foreign companies and a next round of talks with these companies will be held by Azersun Holding group of companies in May.
