The share of Azerbaijani government in the development of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli perspective structure may reach 80% in the second quarter of this year.
The due announcement was made by a source from the Azerbaijan International Operating Company.
"We have not yet received final financial reports covering the first quarter, yet initial estimates prove that if oil prices remain on a high level, the Azerbaijani government will receive 80% of revenues from the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli project in the second quarter".
It should be noted that the state share in ACG rose by 50% up to 75% on April 1, while in 2007 its share was only 25%.
