Through the first two months of 2008 Azerbaijan carried out import-export transactions with 107 countries in the amount of $2,132,100,000 a source from the State Statistical Committee told Day.Az.
Of this amount, export made up $1,197,800,000 (56.2%) and import $934,300,000 (43.8%). Positive balance made up $263,500,000.
The European Union accounted for 21.9% of import-export transactions, CIS 25.3% and other countries 52.8%.
Turkey, Russia, Italy, Iran, Israel, United States, Germany, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Romania, Chile, Georgia and China dominated the external trade transactions (82.2%).
