Eyub Huseynov: "We are all under threat of new poisoning with low-quality products, sold in our shops"

Azerbaijan lacks laboratories, normal expertise of goods, sold on the food market of the country, as well as specialists, capable of tracing appearance of dangerous products in local shops. Moreover, the dynamics of poisoning with foodstuffs is not studied in Azerbaijan.

The due announcement was made by Eyub Huseynov, chairman of the Union of Free Consumers.

According to him, the Azerbaijani produced nuts are not allowed to the Central European countries for already four years, as they contain dioxin which is dangerous for health.

"However, this measure has not signalized the necessity to clean the domestic market from such products. In the result, Azerbaijan consumers use nuts, rich in dioxin", he said and added that dioxin is also produced in the result of plastic package burning and local consumers may also get infected with E coli while eating fast food, containing beef.

He noted that we are all under threat of new poisoning with low-quality products, sold in our shops.
