Azerbaijan, Islamic Development Bank sign memorandum of mutual understanding

Azerbaijan's Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev received Yusif Khan, deputy chief of the first department for operation with the IDB member-states, currently visiting Baku.

The due announcement was made by the press service for the Ministry of Economic Development.

The meeting participants discussed existing relations and their prospects as well as the bank's three year program of actions on Azerbaijan.

By results of the meeting, a memorandum of understanding on the IDB program of actions, covering 2009-2011, was signed between the government of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Development Bank.

The document reflects implementation of over 10 projects in various economic fields financed by the Islamic Development Bank.
