The volume of official monetary reserves of the National Bank of Azerbaijan made up $3,923,600,000 as of February 1 of 2008 which is a 98.9% rise as compared to February 1 of 2007.
The due announcement was made by a source from the National Bank of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
As is reported, in January the volume of official monetary reserves has fallen down by 2.3%.
On the whole, in 2007 the monetary reserves of the central bank have risen by 2.04 times up to $4,015,300,000.
It should be reminded that the volume of official monetary reserves of the National Bank, rose by $1,006,000,000 or by more than 2 times (105%) and reached $1,967,300,000 in 2006.
