Azerbaijan's external debt made up $4,441,900,000 as of January 1 of 2008 which is 8.2% of country's GDP.
Day.Az reports that the per capita debt makes up $283.9. The credits raised in 2007 totaled $441,200,000.
At the same time, the expenses for the repayment of the external debt equaled $170,500,000 in 2007, including $102,200,000 of main debt, $68,300,000 of interest rates, including $61,700,000 from the state budget, and $36,500,000 to the International Monetary Fund.
