Estonia's Minister of Economy and Communications to visit Baku

Minister of Economy and Communications of Estonia Yuhan Parts will pay official visit to Azerbaijan in March of this year.

The due information was made by the chairperson of the Estonia-Azerbaijan Trade Chamber Yana Krimpe, who added that the agreement on the visit was reached during Yuhan Parts's meeting with the Minister of Economic Development of Azerbaijan Heydar Babayev in Tallinn on January 22.

She said during the meeting the sides discussed current development of economic relations as well as the prospects of cooperation.

The date and program of the visit are currently being discussed.

This will be a response visit of Estonia's Minister of Economy and Communications to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan's Minister of Economic Development was staying on an official meeting in Estonia on January 21-23 by the invitation of Yuhan Parts.

In the framework of the visit Heydar Babayev held a number of meetings with senior officials of the country: "Estonian Prime Minister Andras Ansip, Foreign Minister Urmas Paet, vice speaker of the Parliament (Riigikogu) Yuri Ratas. A business-forum "Azerbaijan-a country of 1000 opportunities" was held in the framework of Babayev's visit to Tallinn, resulting in signing of two agreements including between Azerbaijani Ineks LTD and Estonian Krimelte, and on the creation of the Azerbaijani Investment fund with an Estonian capital for investments into Azerbaijan's economy.
