IBA signs credit agreement on EUR 10,000,000

The International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBI) has recently signed a credit agreement with the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB)in the amount of EUR 10,000,000.

In the framework of the agreement, IBA will be able to raise funds for up to 7 years. The raised funds can be used by the bank for financing investment projects with a part of Scandinavian or Baltic goods.

Under the terms of the agreement, the funds can be used for any expenses connected with implementation of projects.

In line with the agreement, the assets will be used to finance projects of the bank's customers, with attention to be paid not only on their economic but also ecological effectiveness.

The agreement with the Nordic Investment Bank will also allow IBA to expand financing of long-term projects of its corporate customers, who have business relations with Scandinavian and Baltic states.

The Nordic Investment Bank is among the leading international financial institutes, created in 1975. Currently, it comprises Denmark, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Latvia and Lithuania.

The priority trends in the activity of the bank include implementation of investment projects in the advanced technology industrial spheres both on the territories of the member-states and abroad.

The overall assets of the bank near EUR 18,000,000,000.

It is headquartered in Helsinki.
