Two Azerbaijan-Jordan Business Forums to be held this year

Two business forums will bring together business people from Azerbaijan and Jordan this year, as reported by sources from the Embassy of Azerbaijan to Jordan.

The embassy said the first event will take place in Baku. Besides, the goods, made in Jordan for export, will be exhibited in Baku, too.

The second forum will be held in Amman at the end of the year.

The embassy said negotiations are under way for establishment of an intergovernmental commission and the documents are to be ratified by Azerbaijani and Jordanian parliaments.

The commission is expected to be co-chaired by Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economic Development Heydar Babayev and Jordanian Minister of Industry and Trade.
